Description:
On Tuesday, October 20, at 12:30 PM, the Languages & Literature Division will honor Pamela Leggat with the installation of a red maple at Annandale Campus. The ceremony to dedicate the tree as a memorial for Pam will take place on the upper plaza in front of the entrance to the CT Building, near the site of the tree. Everyone is welcome.
Donations for the installation of the tree are still invited (before a deadline of November 2). Donations should be made by check (no cash) made out to NVCCEF, with reference to Pamela Leggat noted on the memo line. Checks should be sent (campus mail is OK) to the attention of John Ruffino at the NVCC Educational Foundation. If you wish to send a check from home, the mailing address is 4001 Wakefield Chapel Road, Suite 312, Annandale, VA 22003.
All donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law, and NVCCEF will acknowledge and receipt gifts of $25 or more. Any funds left over after the installation of the tree will be applied to a scholarship fund. Questions may be directed to Judy Riggin at jriggin@nvcc.edu or 703-323-3357.
